The “retired and bored” thread got me to post this PSA. If you live in the Havasu area and enjoy softball, we have an over 50 league at Rotary Park. Men and Women welcome. It is a pretty competitive league as we send a few teams to various tournaments and have several players who play travel ball. But we have a WIDE variety of skill levels and players from 50 to 80!

We play pick up games all year round and have a league in Jan/Feb when all the snowbirds are here. We usually field 6 teams in the league.

The current pick up schedule is Monday and Thursday. Games at 830am At Rotary park. Pickup games play every week, even on holidays, so we will be out there tomorrow. If you are interested, please get there around 7:45am for a little warm up and to be placed on a team.

It is really a great group.

We are in League until the end of February. There is batting practice on Tuesday at 9am that’s open. Pick up games start again in March

If it weren’t for arthritis, far sightedness and blown-out knees I’d be all over this.
You would be amazed how you might fit right in. Lots of nagging injuries, knee/hip replacements everywhere. Come checkout batting practice and try to ease back into it

Yes. Pick up games are Monday and Thursdays at Rotary. Summer hours start next week so game time will be 830 am. Try to be there a little before 8 so you get placed on a team. Sorry I will miss you. I leave May 27 for Nat’l Parks RV trip. Have fun!
