I’m in the market for a new to me rv. We currently have a 2018 jayco Seneca super c, But want to get into a renegade/showhauler super c. Looking at a little bit older models (build quality) and bunks are seldom in this era. My question is, has anyone ever added bunk beds to an rv? Obviously you need the space or eliminate a couch etc. And yes I want bunks. Don’t need to be talked out of them. We travel a ton for bmx and don’t want to deal with folding shit and collapsing beds everyday/night. My kids currently sleep in the overhead bed above cab and it’s getting time to seek new arrangements. Also if anyone is selling a super c that is not made by Thor let me know. Sick of fixing shit.

Honestly, email Renegade and see if they have any pics of one the built. If it helps, tell them "you may be in the market soon". I've seen a couple, but they were Midwest dirt track guys...seemed odd at the time, because I'd never seen a "family" edition of a race hauler. At least then you could see how they finished them out.

For sure stick with the freightliner cab and chassis , look at race junk.com . I would also put a call into elite motorsports ( put Erica Enders on it she sells this stuff in between races her # 713-299-7598 ) they are an awesome source as they have many customers always upgrading and trading in nice stuff.. as far as a bunk conversion that stuff is no problem to the right shop..

We had a bunk model tiffin before the super c and loved it. But with the v10 I was limited on towing. I absolutely love driving the truck style chassis and would be very hard to switch back to a class A. Wife wants to go to a tiffin pusher with bunks, easy win for me because she never drives.

Thanks. I check out racingjunk all the time. I’m on a very strict budget or else I would have already bought a new one! I don’t want to spend more on an rv than I did on my house. 😂

Renegade Valencia S2RV limits you to the 6.7 allison 3000 or the Verona gets you the M2 and the L9 and 3200trv both have bunk beds.
I am not sure showhauler and budget go in the same sentence 🤞Good luck, the hunt is sometimes the most fun.

I know you said no more thor, but I did see something a little different, greyhawk XL 33F F600 4x2 with bunks

Depending on the year of a Tiffin, it’s owned by Thor now.

Just curious, how much would a shop charge to do a bunk conversion? I was trying to guess but I really have no clue.

I don't know anyone who has one of these but I have seen adds and they look like a good solution if they aren't total pieces of crap.

I saw those, well my wife did. Still same situation. Have to make and fold every night and day. Bunks you just close curtains and done.

Bunks also give you a place to sit a duffle and your helmets...not outside or in the trailer. It makes sense. Not to mention, if a kid is tired and needs a nap (all ages), they aren't on the floor or in your bed.

What rv do you have now. Didn’t you have a Seneca?
Picked up a Dutch star 4313. Wife wanted bunks for the same reason as you and I wanted a class A. She liked this floor plan over all the bunk model RV’s.
