I have a lot of wiring and the ECM that sits under the cut out in the hatch, over the offseason I found that the power wire to the ECM had gotten wet and corroded as water will splash in from surf boats when I’m tied up and parked. I ended up having the wires re pinned.

My thoughts are to fix this are I can come up with some kind of cover for the ECM that will need to let it breath and radiate heat and make a block off plate for the hatch for when I’m parked. Or I could spin the hatch around to face forward. Other than making the boat nosier and my wife complaining does anyone think it would ram enough air into lean the motor out ?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

21RT? I think I’d spin that scoop around the other was and that would solve your problem.

When you park just be conscious of pointing the nose towards the direction that the rollers are coming from.

Yes

I got the idea to do that from the one you have for sale actually.

I notice when I park at Foxes on the inside against the sea wall. If you park the normal way pointed down river, the rollers come right over the back of the boat.

That RT I have I drove a few times last time I sold it. It didn’t seem super noisy to me.

Treat it like a shiada........

Leave it on the trailer.....😆😆🤣
Hey, somebody had to say it. Lol

Swap the scoop direction, noise is minimal.
Wet ECM's are not much fun.

In the meantime, roll up the appropriately colored towel and stuff it in there while you’re parked.

Without going into TLDR wandering, the answer is no. Not even close.
