Sticking this on a rig soon, trying to cut cost at least for now, boat had an older 300 2 stroke with wing plate which i can't use , well maybe the helm and hoses, anyone running a newer 300 without steering assist? Or is it a must have, sell your soul to get it lol?

Is this something that you might be able to use? I ordered the wrong kit for my Jonnyrude and wasn't able to return it and had to buy a second cylinder. I think it's for a big merc. It's 10+ years old, never mounted or had oil in it. Been sitting on a shelf since. Make you a great deal if it works.
