We recently purchased a larger RV, so it’s time to sell this one.
It’s a 2005 Itasca Spirit 31T. We’ve owned this RV for 8 years. Purchased it with 4800 miles on the clock and have added about 25k miles. It has taken us up to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons twice, all around Utah and to countless desert trips from Ocotillo to Dumont and everywhere in between. Has been a very solid rig for us but we tow a Diesel gladiator behind it, and while it tows great, I’m a little too close to the 5000lb tow capacity. When we bought this RV. The Vinyl decals were removed and painted decals were applied. The Unit has 2 6v golf cart batteries wired in series that are 2 years old. Tires are 3 years old. 4kw generator has 517 hrs on it. We upgraded the day original night shades to slow rise blackout shades 2 years ago and added the daytime privacy shades in the front windows. I just replaced both the black and grey tank valves. I replaced the awning shade fabric 2 years ago. Factory installed rear airbags. Changed the oil about 2000 miles ago.
The bad. Clear coat is peeling off of the unpainted fiberglass portions. There is a delam bubble under the 3rd brake light on the rear. And my Father in-law backed into a post and dented the rear bumper. The slide topper has a tear in it.
This vehicle has never been on salty snow covered roads and is very clean and rust-free underneath.
I’m not a fan of haggling, and I’ve had good luck with honest and straight forward transactions here on RDP. Trying to disclose everything I’m aware of here so there are no surprises.
We are planning to get $30,000 for this RV. After running the NADA and seeing the condition of other RV’s we feel that price is fair. Feel free to contact me with any questions. RV is located in Boulder City NV.
