I was wondering if you can reserve a spot at 3 Dunes? If so can someone please walk me through it?

You know, you joke but lower the price to like $250 to get up at 6am to reserve a spot til say 10? Not a bad little summer gig. Get some teenagers, easy ups and lawn chairs drop em off and be like “spread out to three boat area” yellow M37 will be here by 10, I’ll be back to get you, got 4 channel spots and a cove on the ca side to reserve too”

Not a bad half day of work on the lake.

I’ll do it for 250 for 2 days. And guarantee 3 spaces till 2:00 pm

400 for holiday, 3 days. Guaranteed till 1:00 pm.

A lot better than people sitting in chairs and ez ups all Day in the channel or the rental barges sitting there all day.

Not unreasonable to hold a spot until 10am. Would Never work for us as we can never seem to even get in the water before 11.

I guess holding a spot doesn’t bother me much. So packed I can’t get a spot. Probably don’t want to be at that spot to begin with.

Saturday morning of desert storm we found a spot next to an empty ez up frame and some empty chairs at the water line. Another guy pulled up and asked if they were ours… nope. He pulled in and proceeded to fold the ez up and chairs and put them on the other side of the sidewalk.

Havasu PD was sitting there in their little gator RZR golf cart looking thing and watched it happen.. dude asked them from the sea wall “you can’t save spots like that, right?..”

“Nope, sure can’t”

Learn something new every day I guess.

We didn’t stick around long enough to see if they ever came back or what happened if they did

Interesting, “Joeman” shows he joined RDP way back in 2008. I don’t believe there’s any spot on the lake/river, then or now, where you can reserve a spot.

I would have set them across the sidewalk in front of the boat to the other side of me. That way when they come back chances are they don't remember exactly which spot they were saving and they'll start shit with the other boat plus bonus you get a front row seat.

That shits not funny, I almost got in a fight like that a few years back.

A guy was leaving the end dock at the turtle, so I pulled in to take his spot. While we're waiting for the girls, some guy comes down with his group and is leaving, apparently the guy before me moved his boat forward since he was taking up 2 spots
