300 XS Optimax question

Can someone please advise on redline for these motors? I believe the boat isn’t propped correctly and I’m trying to dial this thing in.

1. Twin 3.2 optimax 20” shaft
2. Sport master 1.62
3. Currently running 33 bravo 4 blades
4. Max RPM currently is 5300-5400 RPM’s

33s are too big.

I think recommend RPM is 6100 with the limiter at 63 or 6400.

I tried to keep all of mine under 6k for any sustained amount of time, but you’ll get differing opinions on that.

Not knowing what boat you have them on it’s hard to make recommendations, but if it’s a Daytona or similar, 28 Bravos will work. Something small like a 22, and I’d recommend 30s. Ideally a call to Hill and get a pair of his CNC props is one of the better choices, Dewalds are VERY good as well. Other than the Bravo line, everything is huge $!

25’ hustler talon. Ironically, I spoke with Hill this past week. Extremely helpful. I had to double check my X dimension and plan on calling them back tomorrow.

He will get you hooked up. I ran his props on all my XS junk and they worked better everywhere than the Bravo stuff. The Dewalds worked a LITTLE better, but pretty similar.
