Is that the air intake heater?
I've read about guys pulling and plugging it for better flow.
Where did you notice change?

I run a TS tuner and usually keep it on the 80HP and it just feels like it has more power. 24° this morning truck started right up without the heater. Plug on eBay was 14 to my door and now I can pull my boost gauge off of it rather than the T off the map sensor. Great lil mod.

I pulled mine out but I did it at the same time as a KC stage 1 turbo, injectors, hpop and up pipes and a few other parts. I swapped the TS tuner for the hydra and the truck is absolutely amazing now. Night and day difference.

I’d love to do some of that stuff at some point mine just turned over 100k. Mounted new Walker Evans wheels today and trying to figure out a light bar for the bumper bar i made this last week

I'm at 146K on my 2002. All the motor work was done around 142K. I used KC turbo in Apache junction for the parts. Austin at KC is super knowledgeable. I have a move front bumper sitting on my garage floor right now that's going on in the next week or two. The walkers look good! Are they 17" wheels? Where in Arizona are you?

Im at 8500' plus, so I get some cold mornings. She will fire off in single digits temp without plugging in. That's the only reason I haven't tried to delete the AIH.

Replaced my stockish turbo with POS ATS ported housing for the KC stock turbo. Its been good so far. Little less power on the top end but spools nice and fast on the bottom end . Should be better for my high altitude towing. Haven't tested it yet.

I'm also running a Terminator 500 HPOP.

I feel like I have better throttle response and it spools quicker. I did fail to mention above that I am running 456 gears

I was in SanTan but got annexed into Queen Creek. That helped on property values but increased taxes...

Went ahead and ordered one. I'll give it a shot.
Little research I did says i shouldn't have issues pulling it in the low Temps I see.
It's more for arctic circle type conditions.
