Built with the strongest steel and precision reinforced welds, ICON™ storage is tough enough for the daily grind of a busy shop…and you don’t have to break the bank to get the tool cabinet you deserve. Every ICON™ cabinet features a double-wall steel frame for ultimate strength. Industry-leading 16-gauge top and outside panels prevent dents and withstand the demands of daily use, and 18-gauge inside panels evenly support drawer and slide weight. Structural corner brackets prevent cabinet twist and racking. Under every ICON™ roller cabinet, three 14-gauge U channels distribute weight evenly to the industry-leading 2,000-pound-rated suspension casters with easy locks, so these boxes glide into place easily and stay in place securely. With a staggering 8,000-pound capacity, ICON™ roller cabinets are more than double the overall weight capacity of comparably sized Snap-On cabinets. These boxes are beautiful. Their premium ultra-tough powder coat finish will withstand harsh chemicals and provide a showroom finish that looks like new, even after years of punishing use. Every drawer features the highest-quality ball bearing full extension drawer slides that support up to 265 pounds per set - or 530 pounds for drawers with double slides - even more than Snap-On’s Masters Series. An adjustable-force drawer latch system lets you dial-in just the right amount of force to keep drawers from opening when they should be closed. And heavy-duty nonslip drawer liners will keep your tools in place...right where you put them. ICON™ storage features an integrated power system. The power charging drawer has two fast-charging USBs and six 110v outlets with extendable chain-style power management. The deep power tool drawer includes six adjustable height holsters for easy access to air and power tools. Interior and exterior electrical outlets and USB ports give you easy access to power when and where you need it. We even designed a detachable power supply so you can move the cabinet without dragging the cord. And a Y-cord comes with the base cabinet so when you add a work center, you only have to plug in the cabinet once. An advanced locking system turns your tool cabinet into a vault to keep your valuable tools safe and secure. The interchangeable core lock comes with security milled keys that allow you to key-alike all your ICON™ storage units as you expand. ICON™’s modular design offers endless configurations for maximum flexibility so the system can grow with your needs. Customize your storage with expansion options like work centers, end lockers, end cabinets, overhead storage and top chests. The base cabinets are offered in two sizes: 56 and 73 inches. And all ICON™ storage comes in four colors: Red, Blue, Black and Green. This roller cabinet, like all ICON™ storage comes with free door-to-door delivery and a lifetime warranty—plus, a full line of replacement parts is available. It’s the only storage solution you’ll ever need. Heavy-duty drawer slides support up to 265 lbs. per pair - double slide drawers support up to 530 lbs. Adjustable force drawer latches to control opening force Premium grade nonslip drawer liners Interchangeable core lock with security milled key Rust-resistant, premium ultra-tough powder-coat finish Heavy duty casters, 2 locking swivel and 2 fixed, each with a 2000 lb. capacity Includes Power Charging Drawer with (2) Fast Charging USB’s and (6) 110V Outlets Power Tool Drawer Includes (6) Adjustable Height Holsters For Air & Power Tools Fully modular to fit your needs with additional pieces available

Interesting read, impressive comparisons to snap on. Basically claiming a better box with stats to back it up but at 1/6th the price. Crazy.

If you go down the Youtube Rabbit Hole… There are several people who are testing tools.
Project Farm - Does some great stuff. One was testing all the big names of torque wrenchs, on accuracy and to complete failure. Snap On did not test well at all, but the Icon did… dont get me wrong… he tested lots of them… from cheap to stupid expensive, great video

Lots of other people have good reviews/testing on the Icon Tool Boxs.

I have US General Gen 2 56” upper and lower… for 4 years ish now… not one problem. I have a decent collection of Icon tools, Rachets,Sockets, Wrenchs etc… again no complaints from me, or failures to report. Get the job done.

I too have US General boxes…..72” here. Far from overloaded so not issues. Even just bought a US General gray bottom for our soN for Christmas. When buying tools I went all over the place about 60% was from HF. I have Craftsman in Hawaii that will move one day. Today’s Craftsmen is just not there in quality anymore. Just their ratchets alone have to be fixed/replaced all the time as internals fail. So I took a risk and bought the Icon rather than cheaper HF ratchets. It has been 4 years and I am still happy with that direction. 👍

Not to thread jack…

But Snap On does make my favorite screw driver on earth, A ratcheting screw driver… Love this thing so much I have a couple of them. One stays on my work bench, and one lives in my truck tool bag… They are not cheap, but well built and make quick work of things.

The handle is hollow and holds bits… They make them in differenct handle sizes and shaft lengths, and they make a 1/4” driver version, Which I have.

If you combine the Snap On, with this Icon Kit, you can solve some problems.
