A dream within a Dream

Let me start this off. It has only been the last 10 to 12 years that I can remember having dreams. Before that I can't remember ever dreaming. I suffered a Spinal Cord injury and ended up having surgery. After the surgery they put me on Morphine. I did not do well on Morphine had hallucinations, thought my nurses were trying to kill me and became combatant My DR. thought I was suffering from Alcoholic D.T's. I had been honest with him about my Alcoholic consumption. He actually called my wife at 10 pm and told her he had written a proscription for Beer but she would have to go get it and drop it off to the night staff. He then took me off the Morphine the parnoia went away I stopped being combatant and he switched me to another pain killer.Just for the record I never drank one of those beers. After they got me off the morphine I was fine. During the time I was on the morphine I started having dreams they were very weird at first but after they took me off the morphine they settled down and became quite pleasant. I dream in color and very vividly mostly about people I have known over my life.

Well this brings me to last night I went to bed early about 8:00 and fell asleep watching TV. Sometime during the night I started to dream. I had a dream that my brother had died, then the next day he shows up at the shop alive and well. Well I tell my brother about my dream and we both laugh it off. It was as vivid as can be, my brother dead, and I felt a feeling of loss and great sadness but seeing him the next day brought a great peace over me.

Just a heads up my brother pasted away 5 years ago. The only thing I can think of I had a dream with in a dream
