Hey RDP'rs in the Phoenix area,

The wife and I are spending 3 nights at the Hilton in Chandler (by the mall) to take care of some Real Estate things in the area. I was hoping I could get some advice on where to go for some good food (healthy preferably). The Hotel is in the area of Chandler Blvd and the 101 Fwy.

We'll have a little time during the days but mostly looking for stuff to do in the evenings. We're not looking to party like rock-stars.....well maybe aging rockstars but not looking for the Senior specials either.......any suggestions?:headscratch:

Couple places to eat near the mall....the Keg and Kona grill can get some good meat or sea food dishes...

Me, I would head to Downtown Chander Chander blvd/Arizona Ave....El Zocalo for Mexican, Murphy's Law for a good Irish Pub, and a couple of other good spots for wine and food down there...

There are also a couple of casino's close by Lone Butte about a 1.5 from where you are at...and Wild Horse (much bigger) about 5 miles away...both just down the 202 which is right next to the Hilton...

If you want more more nightlife head to Old Town Scottdale...but downtown Chandler is definitely a cool vibe.

Any of you valley peeps been here? http://www.logansroadhouse.com/Default.aspx

I love this place and there's one by me in Gilbert (right next to Chandler) and one on Dobson in Mesa (101 Fwy and University @ Dobson) Not far from where you're staying, unlimited peanut buckets and it's a throw the peanut shells on the floor kinda place :thumbsup

Well.......Took the advice and had dinner at the Kona Grill last night.

The food was very, very good and even better it fit within the "New Years Resolution" diet plan!

Thanks again for the advice:D

Kona grill....mmm. The macadamian nut crusted chicken and a citron and soda sound excellent this morning.
