Amazon Stock Split

Amazon will be splitting 20-1 on June 3.

I’m thinking about parking some cash prior to the split.

Buy Amazon Stock Ahead of Planned Stock Split

Amazon is planning a 20-for-1 stock split for June 3. Should investors buy into AMZN stock now or wait until the split is complete?

Amazon is also buying back $10 Billion of it. Lots of post covid plans for getting productivity back up and cost cutting to get profits back inline. Covid was open the checkbook and get it out the door at any cost to keep up. Now its get lean and mean again.

First bought Amazon in 1998. I bought some additional shares the day after the announcement at $2919. My guess is that after the split it will run very quickly to $200 a share. I'm the old school guy, if it is good enough to buy, it's good enough to keep.

the union gig is primarilly in the fullfillment centers only..... the AWS unit (my job) will remain non-u. we're stoked for the split.
since one of the benefits of our group is RSU's when we sign on....... I'm sitting on a pretty decent amount of shares right now,
and thinking if the AWS unit keeps raising the bar like we always do, the stock will continue to climb. and with lower share prices
the ordinary investor can play....... not too many working folks justify buying a share of a company stock at 3000$

Finding out what the real costs of them are. Land, people, taxes. They have opened over a million sqft within 10 miles from me. Just the rent let alone the people to staff them. Lots of cost cutting into the profit
