are recruited by the UW for aptitude testing. They are each given 3 ball bearrings and put in individual rooms and tasked with creating something with what they have been given. They have a half hour.
The architect is first up, he has created a pyramid. He goes into great detail about this being the first great structure mankind created, most basic but relevent etc.
2nd up is the structural engineer. He has stacked the round orbs one atop the other, and has the engineering calculations to back up how he performed this trick.
Impressed by the first two subjects the instructors open the door to the iron workers room. They look around and dont see the bearings. They ask what happened. The ironworker says that he lost the first one, broke the second one and the last one is in his lunch box.
I laughed so hard I cried when I heard this. Guess you would have to be a carpenter to understand. Or be a GC and have to consistantly hand placement or shop drawings over each day.
