Anybody Have The Jegs 180 Mig

I’m looking to get a MiG for around the place. Anyone have one and are they worth it? After that I was looking at the Hobart Handler 190, for a few more dollars the Lincoln 180. For anything serious I have a Lincoln stick welder mounted in the work truck. Just need something for light duty repairs and fab work.

I have the Hobart handler its 20 years old and works great !! Just like new. It’s a 110 volt machine. I used it to to fabricate and tack up a new trailer hitch and then used a bigger machine to make it last

I would look at duty cycle and make sure you can use it and not have it cut out.

I have the Hobart 210MVP. A great machine for the price. Get at least a 230 volt machine. 115 volt machines are good up to an 1/8". Hobart is a Miller machine with different paint.

That was gonna be my suggestion too. They have some great entry level setups

I I believe that’s the one I bought ? 110v I have the Lincoln toomstone I like but don’t have 220 at the barm

180 amps with free shipping at that price? that's cheaper than harbor freight with more power....

I have a hobart handler 190 mig, I keep flux core in it when I need to stick two pieces of metal together it works well. But over double that price.
