The 5-mile unpaved section of State Route 88 (Apache Trail) from Fish Creek Vista (milepost 222) to milepost 227 near Reavis Trailhead Road has reopened.

I drove up to Apache Marina a couple of month ago, nice drive. Apache Lake is very pretty, I've only taken my jet skis there. They are supposed to improve the road so it will be boat friendly, as of now you can only trailer in from the Roosevelt side. Too long for a day trip but the lake is pretty cool and the Marina is the nicest of all the Salt river lakes.

This longer-term plan does not have dedicated funding, and ADOT is pursuing federal funding to advance these longer-term improvements.

Just think if only you didn’t put a Democrat in office who’s spent MILLIONS on cheap illegal labor, this funding wouldn't be an issue.
