Question, is the VIP 90 minute bus tour worth the time?

Yes and no...the "buses" are a bit better than Tijuana Taxis. May get one that burns your eyes a bit. The guides are pretty cool, know the weirdness of the place, and what animal does what and where.
It'll be cold though! I'm a bit lower in elevation, about 40 miles south as a crow flies...it was 8 this morning:oops:

Idk why I thought you lived in golden shores. Makes more sense why you didn’t want to transport that Facebook backhoe that far!

@Angler please post your feedback when you go. Been wanting to take my son.

The "Monkey Farm" is in Prescott Valley. The "river pad" is a double wide palace in Golden Shores;)

If it is your first time there or going with large group--then I would say yes to the bus tour.
Do the Bus tour when you first get there--then walk through the rest of the park.
you can drive your own car through when you are done and ready to leave.

I say yes to the bus as the guides will know the story and history around some of the animals.
The animals also know the bus and know they will get food from it so they will come closer than if you were in your car.

I went a few months ago, just drove our truck through, didn't see a need for a bus tour. Then walk around, also there is a cool bar with views of the black leopards, you have to walk thru the store to get there.

We went in the spring and bears were “doing it” everywhere. Right in the middle of the road etc etc. mini can in front of us was full of kids pointing lol. I felt embarrassed after a while.
