Hey folks just got a new to me 20.5 commander open bow, been a v-drive guy forever but this fits our needs right now perfectly. boat is bone stock at the moment which is great but I am going to put in about 600hp this winter and am wanting to make sure I get the biggest bang outa the pump... I would like the boat to get outa the water better and get close to the 70 mph range. currently pump is stock without a diverter any input would be great, I have talked to a few folks and just want to get my bases covered on loaders, bowls, impellers or anything I am missing.

600 HP puts you over the safe limit for an aluminum impeller as well as on the edge for most OEM shafts , The "E" is a decent piece and can stand some "hand work (grinding and shaping) in the suction and an appropriate loader would benifit you as well with the added HP . We offer a couple options on bowls (Bandit 9 vane and 8 vane sportsman) which can help Please feel free to call ,post or PM if we can help Tom
