I use Charles Schwab which is considered the “Nordstrom’s” of online trading. So far, I love it! Great phone app as well. It’s been 4 years and zero issues.
I started a few years back with E trade. Was super simple. So simple I actually still use it (cause I don’t like change). I am sure there are better or even way better but, it gets the job done
Etrade gets the job done. Intuitive, gets the job done.
If possible, I highly recommend you get a mentor, before you go down this path.
There are alot of lessons that are learned the hard way, thats not good.
If you dont have a mentor accessible, then read alot of books/online stuff.
Basic stuff like setting up your account, and what all the questions actually mean.
”Pattern Day Trader”?
Margin account?
etc etc etc... I have been thru several high end brokerages. Interactive Brokers is the best, but its not designed for beginners. Which is why I do not recommend it for beginners.
I will help you with the limited info I have, which is better than nothing. But I am no pro. I have been trading a bit for a few years now. But I am truly a novice, and can help you with the basics. I have learned from Pros, but wished I had more time to dedicate to trading. My work schedule prevents the one key thing I need... TIME
If you want my help, just pm me a number to call you.
Install Robinhood app on your phone. Trades are free but limited. Cant do fractional shares. Its about as easy as it gets. Buys are instant... sells take about 2 days to go back into your account. I have yet to transfer back into a bank account, not sure how long that takes.
