It was reported on September 1, 2012, that the eighth annual Pre-Labor Day Bikini Contest for expecting mothers was hosted in Houston.
According to the "Houston Chronicle", Jennifer Clay, who is in her 32nd week of pregnancy, was judged the winner based on her grace, presentation and ?it? factor.

The event is meant to celebrate the beauty of motherhood. Around 15 mothers-to-be turned out at the event.
All the participants walked down the runway showing off their baby bumps in two-piece swimsuits. The Pre-Labor Day contest has become somewhat of a local tradition.
The condition to qualify for the contest is that the participants must be in their third trimester i.e. at least 28 weeks pregnant.
