I gotz me a question,
I bought a "new to me truck" swapped out the head lights for HID, bought the stock Ford fog lights with HID, the bull bar and the LED light bar.

Here is my problem: The bull bar covers where the fog light would normally mount. So I was thinking of cutting one of the 'slates' where it says "Spyder" on the bottom of the bull bar, take the fog lights out of the housing (it unscrews from the large plastic 'L' housing, leaving only the 'square' light) and have a mount or bracket made the hold the square fog light in where I cut out one of the 'slates'

Does anyone think it can be done or is it too much damn work??
I really want HID fog lights, I like the way they look on the 250's
but if it cant be done easily then I will just buy some HID off road lights or another light bar and put them above the first light bar.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks

Mr.Turd

I'm not sure, but your thread would get more action if it said >

How would you mount this?

Im assuming its more for looks then function? That led light bar you have should be sufficient if you're just go for function. What about removing the front tow hooks and mounting them there? I think they would look better there.

I used Rigid D2 lights. BDF builds this bracket, and I bet you could make it all work out with a little fab work...

The problem is I cant drive with the light bar on, in the streets (get 'pulled over') but the fog lights I can. The tow hooks are a no go, The brackets for the bar are around them.

River, that brackets a good idea also.

They are pretty dang bright... Turning all the lights on is like stick welding.:D
