Can You Port A Number From MagicJack To A Cell Phone?

I have a phone number on a MagicJack and I am thinking of putting that number on a cell phone. Does anyone know if you can port that number? Or has anyone done it. My cell carrier is Verizon.

I know you can port a number to MagicJack, for example make your existing landline number your magicJack number. I don't know if you can take the number back.

I will believe it when it happens. The magicjack service has been great. I just need this particular number on a cell now mainly so I can receive text messages.

Might be able to port to Google voice and receive text messages forwarded to an email or any phone number.

The number can be ported to a cell phone without any issues. I did one for a client a few weeks ago, that came from magic jack, it took about 2 days for the port to go through.

I have two Ooma systems (home and Havasu house) they have been great. I just ordered Ooma Business (Three lines and my Toll free number). I can't wait to set it up.

I just completed the port from Magicjack to Verizon. It was simple and took about 48 hours. thank you for your input.
