So for those that dont know who Canelo Alvarez is he's the multi division champ in boxing, which I follow closely. When I saw this video I figured why not, take a guess what he spent on this shopping spree, go ahead lol. Might want to skip towards the end but what ever. Then for kicks look at hisother videos about fancy horses and his RZR at his ranch in Mexico, and hes a pretty good guy

shoe investments are no joke. Both of my sons buy and sell small batch, colabs, rare shoes. The goal is to buy during the 'drop'. Not buy after in a store. There are entire business based around shoe authentication. If you see a guy wearing shoes with the plastic tags still on them that's a investment shoe. Wearing them can also hurt the resale but it shows your in that world.
Its incredibly interesting.

yore old. i dont get it either. Somehow, some way the next generation is getting by making income unlike anything we can understand. Next time your at Blue Chair check out Dallas's shoes. Its a shoe to me, both of my sons were 'wtf, you see his shoes'. This turned in to a 20 minute shoe talk with him (great guy by the way). Pretty damn interesting.

lol, they make good investments only. Also, I did watch the videos. Its a good UTV. Once bugs are out its a option for many of us. Also once available when the back log is filled.

There will be plenty for sale at “after the drop, in store pricing”… that seems to keep going up, and up.

Many got in at the “drop”, just like shoes and were told it was a bad investment..

I had Pawn Stars on and wife about shit when they went to some shoe collector that wanted 6 figures for some Air Jordans or some shit like that.....apparently Chum has made bank on shoes.
To hell with that, I wear shoes for years before I get new ones....and then I still wear the old ones

There is nothing to argue about.. your sons aren’t out walking in their investment shoes. They aren’t worried about how comfortable they are. They bought them to make some money. The principle is exactly the same

In no world am I going to pay more than $40k or so for a UTV that loses half its value in half a dozen years.

My sister is the HR director at an authentication company…I didn’t even know that was a thing until she started working there.

I’ve got a closet full of “collector” shoes. 99% I’ve never worn. It’s just a hobby that I’ll buy and sell for fun.

My 13 year old daughter is heavy into the vintage clothing stuff. She could buy herself a nice new car right now cash if she wanted to with what she’s profited. Her Mom is in the business and taught her the basics a couple years ago which helps. She’s a wicked 13 year old negotiator and buyer.
