Looking at doing the following on my 2020 since the fuel pump recall has now been completed. Swaps the rear and front fuel filters to spin on cat filters (better filtration, easier to service, etc). If I do it I plan to add the heaters as well since we go where it gets pretty cold. Has anyone done these? I'm over the PITA filters that are on the new trucks..

I run a GDP (Glacier Diesel Perfromance) additional Cat 2 micron fuel filter kit on my 05 CTD! Anything to help preserve the life of my injectors and FP.

Doing it this week on a 2004 305/555 engine.

I've had the kit in the garage for a year. Should have done it sooner and avoided killing an Injector.

Thanks for the replies...time is honestly something I don't have a ton of so I'm either going to do it myself in havasu by thanksgiving or call the guy in havasu @DILLIGAF has work on his truck...robinson I think? about doing it. The truck may wind up spending an extended period up north this winter depending on our snow plans..and I don't want to deal with gel issues.

Parts ordered, going to maybe tackle the project myself if I have time, if not I'll have Robinsons do it. I am going to be under the bed anyway doing the mountings for my new sled deck.. Which I'll probably make a new thread for (I think there are a few white dirt enthusiasts on here as well lol). Have wanted one for a while...lots of choices out there but I think I'll be happy with this one. I had originally ordered another one that had actuators that would spread the deck etc but with all the delays It would have been a late January at best deal...

Two parts are backordered...which were the heaters.. so this project is tabled until probably spring. NBD.

Sled Deck is mounted.. Wiring was a bit fun with the trailer sensors etc, but its all good now. I will say its a butthole puckering experience backing a sled off of....

Time I unfortunately never have, I originally set out to buy one from a different builder that was about a grand less, but they had some delays that made it not work for us. Marlon builds a good product and I can have it narrow when hauling one or empty and extend it out when I have two onboard. I would give the quality of this deck a 9/10. There are some minor things that most people wouldn't catch but that bother me so I've 'fixed them' so to speak. No regrets on this deal...I think I paid around $5600 for it.
