Our dogs pre vax’d and trained and wife keeps a running list of local Vets where we are visiting that have the after-bite jab on hand.

BTW at Superstition in Cali some people drove up out of the Blue and told us nearest Vets are in Palm Springs.

Yup. Those K9's are awesome to have around. Reality is they are very fucking expensive too, so I'm not surprised in this case they loaded into the Helo. I've had partners roll lights and sirens with injured animals to emergency vets and haven't found a Watch Commander or Captain yet that has admonished them for it. Dogs are partners without question on the job or just as a household pet/family member.
