The wife and I have been looking at putting in a pool for while now, and with the massive amount of online spam about container pools, I wanted to get everyone's thoughts or experiences with them? We have a pretty small space to work with but with all this "global warming" <--- this is joke so don't jump my shit, and lack of time to hit the river due to kids sports we are getting more serious now. So what are the benefits and downfalls of both options? Any input would be appreciated.

I like the idea, just crane it over the house?

Permits required? Are they even allowed in your city???

I am looking into that now, I was hoping someone on here had experience with them or a great reason not to get one!

Possible downsides would be aesthetics and resale value for the property.
A buyer would have to be on board with the container idea.

I work with a woman that has one in Canyon Country with a deck built on one end. It’s black ext blue interior with a window into the pool. I like it a lot, she loves it.

When you get a real pool, you need to maintain it and fix it and fix the concrete and the rocks and bricks or whateverthefuck else decides to get fucked up....but if you buy a shitty above ground pool, like I have, when it pisses you off you stab holes in it and stuff it in the garbage can, a process which takes about 20-45 minutes depending on the location and size of the pool....then set down with a beer and a smile on our face until next year when the wife and kids start bitching that it's too hot and you need a pool again....then order another one on amazon, enjoy another cold beer while the wife and kids assemble the new pool.....wash/rinse/repeat.

If they want an in-ground pool....rent a mini - excavator and have fun with that for a weekend or 2 (they have cupholders) and set your disposable pool in the hole....maybe go get some wood to build a "deck"....like white people have around pools. Then you'll be high class without any of the headaches of having a real pool.

That's the next question I have is who did she get if from, looking online every company says they will ship it to you but you have get it installed. I messaged a couple of them and they say they don't have local contacts?

I need to start a business selling 20K-50K products to an end user that then has to general getting the damn thing installed, sounds like a good gig.
