Just a heads up for you guys who use the above products on your trucks, I got an email from TDR yesterday they had picked up with Geno's Garage regarding a huge counterfeit operation doing these filters, both oil and fuel. There are several stories out there of counterfeit fuel filters destroying fuel injection systems on Cummins equipped Ram trucks...and other Cummins powered vehicles. One quick way to eliminate the current fakes is the "t" in Fleetguard isn't crossed, but there are a lot more clues.
Short story buy your parts from a trusted source, don't trust the online retailer selling "brand name filters" at a steep discount.
I use Fleetguard on my truck, I get them from a local Logging Company who buys in bulk directly from Cummins...

TDR is The Diesel Registry, a good resource for Dodge/Ram truck owners...

I just walked in from diagnosing a sick Freightliner....commanded fuel pressure and actual rail way off the mark. Guy does service on a small fleet...and been buying Fleetguard filters cheap off Amazon and eBay.

This is something I have to look into. This is an ISB, same motor and pump as a pickup, just different packaging. I usually buy stuff from NAPA for the big trucks, but I don't mark up stuff as another income stream. I'm a bad businessman, but I really don't want to risk other people's stuff to make a couple bucks.

When I was running my own show as a Mercenary Mechanic I never marked up the parts either
