Cool Videos, I campained a Cracker Box for about 5 years from about 1995-2000. Lots of fun, but really hard on the body (especially the back). My boat was called Animal Cracker P-77. I raced against several of those boats, but all different people now. Lots of fun.
Thanks for sharing.

More participants are needed and it just happens that the P-55 is up for sale. ;)

this brings me back to some crazy times. in case you are wondering, I put the hole right where I wanted in that damn cylinder head. Oh and "cough, cough" the camera does add a few pounds. ha ha. Good times pushing the limits of boat, engine, and crew. We always went the route of trying something different. Sometimes they worked and sometimes Scott got wet🙃.

This has nothing to do with anything cracker box but at the 8 second mark in that first clip is a man kneeling next to a frame kit. This pic is from the Glen L boat kit catalog. I can't remember his name but in their catalogs and in almost every set of building plans, he's there posing showing how to do this or that. Glen L is still in its same location since the 50's in Bellflower and Glen Witt's daughter has been running the company for years. I asked her one what ever became of this guy? She said in addition to being in the catalogs he'd also build bare hulls that Glen L would sell, and make sure all the kits actually went together as advertised. Anyway, one day he was ripping some wood and accidentally ran his hand through the blade taking all his fingers off.

End of wood working career.

MUI...more unless info. lol

Lol I would call your posts many things. Useless information wouldn't be one of them.
