i have seen worse....if the transom and stringers are good i think someone could get it back on the water for less than 15K if you are handy and find some used parts.

You'll be in 15 grand just in interior and a used motor. It would be cool to see someone bring that boat back to what it once was.

Plug the transom, Throw a Merc 350hp Verado Outboard with a Jack Plate, on this bitch.

New Gel Coat, New Interior, hell probably new gas tanks, new steering system, re wire it, new stereo

You will have $45-55kK into a boat you cant sell for $30K... :(

We are boaters, thats why it makes sense. :)

I my mind the numbers are a little lower and less than 1/2 of NEW with 5 year warranty.

no way it's a 21' closed bow....

I'm not saying its going to be dcb level but you could build side panels for cheap and have a ghetto shop build you seats and cover them. I bet 3K could get it done if you shopped and did some of the work.

I sold norcall a perfect 385 hp 454 magnum for like 3K. There are deals to be had if you shop

Cole Trickle is right! Some boats out there that should be sh*t - canned and ones that NEED to be restored I'd hate to see this one get option #1 This is the perfect opportunity for someone to please 'The Boat Gods' LOL! Heck if someone buys my 22' ELIMINATOR XP I'll come down there and give that Hallett another zip code

Desire, goals, budget, reality..

Only the man making those decisions, can make those decisions.

But no man is perfect, when it comes to boats, not being perfect means spending alot of money.

Please ask me how I know.
I have owned 13 boats in my life.

What I have learned, there is no such thing as a cheap boat, or a free boat.

Interior recover would be reletively cheap as long as your not needing to rebuild structure. I just redid the bass boat including front and rear casting seats for 800

That boat needs to be bought. Shouldn't matter what it costs to put it back on the water unless you want to flip it. If I hadn' committed to my other boat project that would be mine . Pisses me off these guys on Craig's list pull apart boats and sell them piece by piece . There not boaters there trying to make money off of boaters . Boats need to be floating to enjoy. I' m doing my part one at a time. Rant over
Sorry
