Yes,I do.

The first gens, and the split-bumper 70.
I came close in '77 to buying a 70 Z-28, four-gear car. It was very nice.
The insurance guy laughed at me, told me to call him back when I was 21.
I was 18. It would have been $600 every 6 months for min. coverage.
I'd ahh, had a few tickets...

Second-gen Camaros get no respect.
Done right, I think they're effing cool...maybe because I was born in '71, so grew up around them.

I like the 60's and the 2010's, not particularly crazy about any of the mid years.

My same preference for Mustangs

We definitely agree on that one :thumbsup
There were a lot of shitty cars on the roads from the early 70's thru the late 80's.

I had an '81 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Bro-ham.
3.8L V6
112 hp
190 lb-ft. torque

3-speed auto. O/D didn't work, so I was turning some good rpm on the highway.
I burned almost two tanks of fuel driving from Santa Ana to Palm Springs and back. It was like a Hybrid, because it got better MPG in the city. :thumbsdown

Oh, and did I mention it was Burgundy?
With a landau top?
When my dad gave it to me in 1988, it was in pretty sad shape and had well over 150K miles on it, 4 mismatched wheels/tires...good stuff.
(I may have been responsible for the tire dealio, but that's not important right now)

Too many kids at my high school drove new Bimmers...Turbo Supras... I drove my father's Oldsmobile. There were a lot shitty cars. This was one of them.

I LOVE the F-BOMB!!!!!! I met Nelson himself, saw the car, have the t-shirt!!! While I was never a fan of the 'me-too' bodied Camaros, I have a little bit of a liking for them now. But, definitely prefer the 67-69's and the 2010's

Used to see a CHP 'maro runnuin' down Glamis way back in the late '70s, early '80s. Very trippy.

I'm told the old Camaros are hard to get, but the Firebirds are around. Firebird would be ok with me.
Anyone know if those 396s were good engines?
I'm down with the the 327 and 350s.

Had 23 Camaros from stockers to a Blown Alcohol Funny.
Most were 67-69. My favorite was a 701/2 Z28 split front bumper, Root Beer brown w/ white stripes, White interior 350/370HP w/ th 400, 3500 stall converter, 12 bolt posi w 456s. Factory stock. Wish I still had it. Sold it to by my first house.
