Anyone know what manufacture makes the fastest single engine pontoon currently?

You didn’t specify sterndrive or outboard, so I’m gonna guess Playcraft with their single Merc 700 SCi and a 6 drive.

When I was looking at new toons recently, the Manitou had some pretty good number for a single O/B.

I have a 27 playcraft with a 525 mercury. It'll do mid 60's loaded up. Can't imagine a 700 merc. That would be crazy. 60's is pretty fast for driving a big piece of plywood around.

Talked to a guy on Friday asking about info on a RPM 26 outboard build. He loves to go fast and is dialing in a 24’ single OB 450R pontoon right now Claims he’s in the low 90mph... Didn’t ask him what model it was.

24ft hypertoon with 450r

Ron Alstott just ran 87.3mph with his 09' hypertoon with a single 450R Mercury!!!!! We were testing a 27 brovo xs hitting the limiter, have a 29p on order. I think the goal of low to mid 90's is achievable👍. All 4 passes were 87mph plus, and very stable. Only 15 of these boats made in 24ft and 3...

If you're really serious, the one with the most HP. Except for minor differences, they are all Exactly the same.

Pontoon was the first boat I ever drove when I was like 8 on Havasu. Then dad got a boat and it all started. Gotta love these stupid pontoons lol
