Waiting patiently for a special "home" delivery from New York. Cool tracking software from FedEx lets you know exactly where your stuff is. Watched the package travel clear across the US in 1 day and was stoked to see it in transit from Rialto Ca. this morning. Thought for sure it would make it here some time today. The special package took all day to make it as far as Bloomington Ca. WTF ????

Anyone RDP who know the FEDEX system???? This has taken almost 6 days for a 28lb package to travel from New York. Seems excessive to me???

When was the delivery date scheduled? I've had items "stall" like that before at the local distribution center.

My guess is there is some algorithm that omits your package because there are other packages that equate to more revenue or are of higher importance on that trucks route that day.

Priority shipping trumps the super saver shipments

Depends on shipping method with FedEx. It hitched a ride on a flight most likely to make it to the west coast then stalls based on method. It will show on the delivery date and not a day sooner

Vernon is off the 710 and Bandini. Below the 60. Basically east la. Cool little bar in that town, learned Spanish there:)

My initial delivery date was today, which would make sense as it hit the west coast this morning or last night and then would have today to get here, but then the delivery date was pushed back to Saturday:grumble::grumble::grumble::grumble::grumble:

I had never heard the term, "stalled" before. Totally makes sense, cuz Rialto and Bloomington are like right next to each other ???

Once the package hits the "coast" depending on where you live it will have to go through 2-3 distribution warehouses. Then on the home delivery truck to your house. If you are off the beaten path add a day. If your are in town shouldn't take more than a day or two using "ground" method. I am a materials manager and buy lots of shit so I know the system fairly well. Ups, FedEx "ground" no more than 5 days coast to coast
