Anyone have any pictures or recommendations? We don't want to mount the TV to the wall.

I got a nice wood/glass one at Best Buy, I'll get you a pic in a few.

How does the TV mount to that unit?
There is a single verticle bar mounted to the back of the stand, the rest is all universal. I had no issue mounting my 60" Samsung. It will rotate but not tilt.

Usually the manufacturer has a selection of mounts that are made just for their product. Try going to their website, entering the model and look at accessories, then get the item# and buy it off ebay for half price...:D

All the tv's I have bought come with a small stand you can use if you don't want to wall mount and then you set it on whatever you want.

Thanks everyone. We bought a new Sony 65 OLED TV over the weekend and want to try mounting it higher than on top of the existing TV stand. We have seen some TV stands with mounts but they were more modern looking.
