.....in Orange County. Any point of contact would be appreciated. Looking for someone to replace the rear glass in my shell. It's an off brand that went out of business, Legacy. Leer, Snugtop, A.R.E. ect won't touch it.

I spent half the day calling camper shell vendors in the Stanton area with no luck. I also called automotive and home glass installers with not much luck either.

The best I got was to come up with a template and they will take it to their glass manufacturing company to have it made. I may have to resort to that as an end result but am trying to avoid.

That's going to be a tough one, I worked in the accessory and truck cap business for a few years right out of high school. There was a dealer in the high desert that used to move a ton of legacy, and used to have replacement parts, I can't remember the name of the shop though

I figured finding an actual replacement glass made by legacy is out.....

I was hoping to find someone who makes custom glass to order who could take the oddball measurement and order a glass.

Must be a trade that is not as common as I figured would be.

How about Plexiglass? Maybe you can make one, or may be easier to find someone tp do it? Just throwing it out there, no idea if it is doable or not?

There's a place in San Dimas that makes new glass for hot rods and custom cars, seems like it's the Glass Man or something like that.

I'm definitely calling this place in the morning. Too bad they're in Washington.

I did a search and found Glass Man near San Dimas.....looks more like home projects not Hotrod's. None the less worth calling tomorrow.

Orange Auto Glass in the same area looks promising too.

Thanks!!
