Interestingly, one of the later posts was from the original owner of Hayaku and copied and snail mailed me some pix of his early racing days.

Pretty stout boat (see Jerry's ad posted) had a 7/8" bottom!

thanks for the info and pics. I had a chance to buy one for a couple hundred bucks here in havasu from a lady that was a original owner, but I couldn't find any info on them, and really didn't want the project at the time
