Interested as well what they call these hulls where the chine is dropped like that. Not sure what type of boat that is, but Harlin Orrin one told me the Sanger version of the gullwing you could only tell by the chines, vs some other brands where the hull bottom even in the front is a well pronounced wing shape.

I missed this question originally, I have a 77' Sanger Gullwing, dropped chines, and a slight concave on each side of the boat at the front as it just peaks out of the water. I don't have any pics of the bottom. Sanger was doing a lot back in the day, mine is 18' 6" long deck and I cant find anything matching this hull measurements from Sanger. It's fun to drive and turns like a beast, could easily burry the nose.

Mine is 18’10” sure has the dropped chines at plates , also seems to crown right at the waters peak as you state .

Just a fyi , i put a straight edge across in two locations one at the fin and the other really close to strut and YES IT IS A GULLWING … i have a app. 5/8 to 3/4” inch gap in center of straight edge .
