Looking for someone or shop that will work on my 68 Camaro, specifically , rear main is leaking. Bought it recently and it has been sitting for 6-7 years so seal probably dryed out. Couple shops I been referred to don’t work on old hot rods. 383 stroker motor with Muncie 4 speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I recently had Autoworks do some work for me. Fast, friendly, fair, and actually followed through on exactly what they said they would. They have some hotrod stuff in the shop when I was there. Definitely worth a call.

I have a buddy there that I grew up street racing with. His name is Trever Leach. I can reach out to him if you like. He does a lot of this stuff.

My shop could handle it for you - Havasu Auto Care 928 505 4470 (open Monday -Friday 8am to 4:30) only issue is time, we have one rack we use just for street rods, and it’s booked until 12/18 at this point

Hopefully, the mechanic that wants to throw a rear main seal in it at least checks crank thrust first.
