I've watched every season. I thought it might have been cancelled but this is good news.

Good show . I miss the old crusty guy . He passed away a couple yours ago . The bosses step son could of learned something from the old timer other than to be a spoiled little pussy .

I record them and everyday appreciate being a tow guy in sunny CA, towing cars that are shiny and run most of the time.

I liked that show. But looks like they're still airing Season 1 reruns, I don't see anything about new episodes...?

Only simular to Ice Road is the fact they are driving trucks. There are 4, or 5 seasons on Netflix for binge watching.

Those guys are idiots! Not as bad as the O'Hare homos from wrecked but pretty bad. There is a new one coming. Canada based show featuring rotators. Each company has a bigger one than the other. It's going to be just as lame as all the others but there are going to be some BAD ASS rigs being showcased.

The scripted bs is what makes these guys look bad. It's the main reason the graziana family that owns O'Hare towing in Chicago stopped after 2 seasons. They embarrassed themselves.

It can be a nightmare to travel in the winter. It's about 2.5hrs from Kamloops to Hope which is just east of Vancouver and is a truckers nightmare when it snows. I'm sure the show is all scripted though! Lol.

One of my 5 favorite shows. I like seeing the heavy equipment in operation. Its way better than ice road truckers. IRT is just boring. You just watch the trucks drive down the road that has snow on it.

We used to run mostly weld-built.

What about the old Don Hines stick boom.

I have put some miles on this old girl. In the 80's when I was in Junior High I pulled out the old 318 Detroit and put in a silver 92 and a new 15 speed. Everyday after school and the weekends for 2 weeks. Before we put the drag winch and the hydraulic stiff leg on there was many times I saw that front axle 5 or 6 feet in the air pulling on a hard recovery. Man those were the days. You had to get that road open by any means with what you had. Glad I got to live it. Now with all the new technology and heavier wreckers is a cake walk compared to those days. I'd still be in it but I just couldn't take the dead people anymore. In a small town with a volunteer fire dept the first people to leave the scene are the ambulance then the fire dept. guess who gets to wait for the coroner to show up and then guess who gets to extricate the bodies and help bag them. No thank you if I never see or bag another dead body again I will be just fine with that. Other than that miss working truck wrecks. Now I own my own grading company no more all nighters, answering the phone in the middle of the night, No more emergency response. I love my now boring life.:D image.jpg image.jpg

Hell. I've had my 9055 with side pullers 5 ft off the ground before my casualty broke free. My shit weighs 62k and is 40ft long. Lol

I love that road............. in the summer (the Kelowna/Penticton connector too).

In the winter, it can be a real bitch. The show depicts what the winter weather can be like pretty accurately.
