How big of an amp to run 2 sets of Kicker 8’s mids & highs

i just bought the kicker KCM2 and 2 sets of the 8’s 41KM84LCW Max power is 300 per set. The kicker amps are showing 75 w max per channel. Is that enough power to each speaker?

What amp would you pair these with?

Boat is a Howard 21 foot RC I/o. One set will go in the engine hatch maybe in an inclosure. The other set will be up in the closed bow where the side of the bow meets the front bulk head. Each in a box.

If you wanted a single amp and wanted to run a sub in the future, get the PDX-v9. It is about the same price, and has 400 RMS for 4 channels, and a single 500W channel for a sub. It is actually a little cheaper than the F6.

Subs are cheap... just grab a 12” kicker to match the other stuff

Even the cheap kicker subs hit pretty hard. Get something that works with the 500 Watts you are going to throw at it.

I got an Alpine 10 inch Type R sub on Ebay for my boat for about $140. It is pretty good. It handles the 500W RMS with no problem.

Run a 4ch amp and bridge the channels, running both speakers per channel will bring it to a 2ohm load and that is good for that amp
