Just allow them to be there and then come by with a bulldozer each morning and if their stuff isn’t picked up and they’re not out looking for jobs it all gets thrown away. the laws are already there for leaving junk on public property, just actually enforce them.

I have no idea if this is true, but I heard someone on the radio say if they held them in jail for 36 hours for tresspassing or violating some simple law most would go into withdrawl from no drugs. They do not like that, so they would move on somewhere else to avoid the 36 hrs.

Going off on a tangent, there was a MacGuyver episode back in the day where the bad guy fell into a pit of fire ants and they killed him. That episode gave me nightmares as a child.

exactly. The first step in fixing the problem is identifying what it really is . Stop calling them homeless, they are vagrants and there are laws on the books about vagrancy. Fines should be levied and inability to pay said fines fines should result in jail time or secured rehab. Quit enabling these people!!

We had people living in our landscaping around one of our power plants. I was suprised at how bad the mental condition of these people. Most we strung out on drugs or alcohol. Most of these people could barely hold a conversation. The police person that would help us said most were strung out on Oxi, Meth or Heroin.

That is when you wait until they go on a mission, hook up your truck, and go put the trailer right next to city hall.

Believe me when I tell you we wish we could handle the issues, but the Cali politicians and local politicians have made it very clear that being a homeless person in this state is a protected class. Departments have lost millions in law suits removing them. Most city's don't want the court problems associated with them. It's not going to change until the local "programs" stop offering free shit to anyone and everyone that wants to come here.
