Hey guys I am looking for a really good hull cleaner. Something that will clean biohazards off of you boat.:skull I use to use Attwood Instant Premium Hull Cleaner but they discontinued it. Here the stuff I use to use. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Just to give you guys an idea what type of hull cleaning capacity I need here is an example of what the Attwood stuff could do with barely any scrubbing. It was biodegradable and eco-friendly (but it sure smelled toxic).

Go to the 99 cent store and get some of LA's awesome cleaner. It comes in Orange base or more of a spot remover kind. Spray it on and let it sit for a while and then hose it off, Apply a good coat of wax after because it will have remove all of that.

Don't do it in the wind or on grass, I have done both.:eek

Yeah, I just looked it up. The ingredients are Hydrochloric Acid, Phosphoric Acid and other toxic shit.:skull I think I am going to find something similar to the Attwood that has a weak acid in it (Oxalic acid).

This works awesome on the interior and on the transom, it even gets hard water spots too.

Muradic acid mixed with water.

^^^ this ... At the end of the day all the cleaners are just weak acid. My cruiser sits in the marina for 7-8 months straight and its a mess when it goes into dry dock.. A few gallons of Muratic Acid and a pump sprayer does the trick. What you are dealing with is a calcium carbonate, calcium magnesium buildup on the hull, acids break those down. The brownish/greenish stuff is just the algae/biological stuff mixed in there making it appear dirty. All the cleaners people are referencing are fine if they do the job, but when you really need to deal with the stubborn scum I would break out the muratic acid.
