Anyone else like to hunt with dogs? To me sometimes watching the dogs work is better than the hunt itself.
I've hunted pheasant, quail, ducks and geese with dogs.

Here's my new Pup, Klaas. He's a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

Do you hunt with dogs? What have you hunted?
Post of pictures of your dog..... I'll find some pics of other we've hunted with.

My buddy had a German short haired pointer that we hunted with. Great dog. A little high strung but he found the birds. He had to put him down last year unfortunately and we took his remains up to an old quail hunting spot we frequented and buried him. Rip Dexter.

Not a bird dog, but he will run down coyotes and tear them up, don't worry about coyotes around the farm.

200 lbs and he can rip a sidewall out of a tire before you can get out of the truck, so we don't worry about strangers either.

Mmmmm. Not sure if I can do that. Lol. Our favorite spot is in Frazier park. We've always done pretty well up there. Especially when we get into the mountain quail.

I have a beagle that would tree racoons and flush rabbits. Jasper was an awesome hunting dog, until my wife made him fat and lazy, lol!

That's cause you're not going to "The Spot". Lol. I couldn't explain where it is. I have to drive there to find it. We've done pretty good up there although I didn't go at all last year.

Hunting bear or mountain lion on horseback with coondogs is a freaking blast.

I'd hate to have neighbors with those dogs though, lol.
