I’ve been to Davos, it was very boring.

All sorts of people espousing their theories, some pretty good, some pretty crazy.

But just because someone says something as a speaker doesn’t mean the organization hosting the event agrees with that premise. Having different speakers with different views is the basic premise of freedom to express and debate ideas.

But I get it, some believe in a cancel culture. That’s just the way some are.

If one puts the "Bond" villainy aside, and looks at things from a business standpoint, I think Schwab may have resigned to avoid being removed. If you were to compare him to a corporate CEO, his "corporation" had recently shown a huge loss. There are people I know that survive without a well, and without a city water bill. They choose to live in areas and ways that make it possible. I don't think the average person could do it, I guess they "pay" with effort.

What people often overlook is the power any "water board" or "district" carries. They can control development and production. In many places, they are corrupt as well, being influenced by developers who wish to build homes, drawing water from sources that cannot support it. They will plug them into city or county systems, knowing full well the problems will arise later.
