J's Sushi in Corona

re-opened last week with a new owner. New interior design. New Menu, Great Sushi with a GREAT affordable lower price. All (2pc) Sushi under $4.

They have lunch menu at $5.00

I give it .

Plus they have a Korean BBQ menu as well. I'll try that next time.

My bill for 2 people was $38.00.

(two diets, edamane, 1-Rainbow roll, sushi = 2-tuna, 2-yellowtail, one salmon)

The old owner Jack was a great guy as well....

I hope they can stay around longer than Jack did.

Never tried that place.

I make a fair distance trip to go to Joe's Sushi on Magnolia and Van Buern in Riverside at least once every month. All you can eat for $23 a person and they have Ono (wahoo) there as well.

Have won awards and all even though it looks like a hole in the wall.

Don't go there at night hungry cause the place is more packed than hell and the line is crazee.

Ask for Jin, he's the manager who runs the place.

Also, if you are single, I am sure it would be a good hook up place as the nightime scene overruns with the younger crowd.

Ask for "Joe's Special Roll: One of the best ones I have had anywhere, even including BlueFin in Newport Coast.

My first real sushi experience was at Joes in Riverside. A couple of us hit SGC Sushi on a semi regular basis. I am told it is owned or was owned by the same owner as Joes. The Joes in Montclair not as good, it used to be a sizzler, they didnt do much to the interior.

I really like the place on 6th street by Arbys

Yeah, we go there too. Usually hit it up for lunch.

Our favorite is Marui Sushi off California and Ontario. The owner is very cool and will even throw some back with you while he makes your dinner!:drnkfr
