Just read Kyle Bush and Kurt with run a Full Time Nationwide Series in 2012 with the #54 "Monster Energy" Camry...:D

They will split time in the car, and its a partnership between Kyle Busch Motorsports and Monster Energy....:thumbsup

The car looks sweet, looks like a Flat Black w/Monster Energy logos, of course....:D

Thoughts...?....

Yes, this car will win. I just feel bad that this deal pretty much forced Ricky Carmichael out of a ride.

I'd wager their track driving tactics may get uglier.

Every sport has it's villains.

Turn up the volume, this tune gets your toddlers dancing:

I feel Summers Eve would be a more appropriate sponsor. Perhaps they could get Kanye West as a crew chief?

They'll be spiting the driver points too. No championship for either of them. :champagne:

I doubt they intend to declare themselves eligible for the Nationwide driver's championship and forsake the Sprint Cup championship.

From http://www.kylebuschmotorsports.com/news/entry.php?nid=354

In 222 starts over nine seasons, Kyle has proven himself to be the winningest competitor in the history of the NASCAR Nationwide Series. In addition to his 51 career wins, Kyle has secured 120 top-five finishes, 149 top-10 finishes and 23 poles. In 2010, Kyle made Series history with a record 13-win race season. Past NASCAR Nationwide Series Championships for Kyle include a Driver's Championship in 2009 and Owner's Championships in both 2008 and 2010 -- all with Kyle's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team owner Joe Gibbs Racing.

.

Say what you wish about Kyle Busch, but he is one of the most talented drivers in motorsports...23% of his starts in the Nationwide Series have been wins, and 67% of his starts have been top ten efforts.

I'm hoping the best for them. I don't like them, but I like their style of pushing NASCAR to the edge.
They at least make watching the race interesting, unlike that Johnson character. I'd bet JJ and Knaus both wear uggs!

Kurt has had his moment in the sun, the game is all about sponsor money and he will not attract the big $ required to run a competitive cup team for a long time, if ever...just to big a whiner, and too phony when it comes to interviews and press stuff.

Kyle is gifted, no doubt about it. If he can just learn a bit from his brothers mistakes and grow the hell up a bit, he has serious potential. This, I suspect, is his last year to get has act together with JGR. If Joe Gibbs cannot force feed him a maturity solution over 3 + years, then he and his brother will both be driving 2nd and third rate stuff before long. The other owners know Coach is the best at settling down these kinds of fellows, and if Coach fails they won't take a chance on him, too much money riding on team sponsorships these days.
I will never be a fan, but if he can get his act together, he will be able to stay with JGR, pull in sponsors like M&M's Mars and keep them.
If he does that, he could win big.
If he doesn't, he'll be gone in 5 years.

I agree that Kurt Busch has peaked out and is heading downhill at a dizzying speed. :D

It's astounding the guy would shit all over himself and get fired from a top tier gig...but the Captain doesn't put up with that stuff anymore. Ever since the days of Al Unser Jr. showing up to drive still half shitfaced and his subsequent firing in 2003 Penske has become a lot less tolerant of drivers that engage in behavior contrary to his standards.

The little Al deal is pretty sad...

I remember the first time he strapped into a sprint car @ Speedway Park,13 yrs. old all of five foot one, hundred lbs...they
called him the flying flea...kid had SO much talent...
Then the drugs& alcohol, his nasty divorce from Shelly.

Bobby Unser helped phuck up Bobby jr.&Robbys lives
Little Al did it all on his own..guy could drive anything.
He&Holbert in the Lowenbrau Porsche's were unbeatable.

Those 2 prima donnas will probably get in fights over whose turn it is to drive and if one wrecks the other will do his asse over that......After all the reality lessons, they just can's seem to grow up.

But they add color to the drab atmosphere Nascar has become and the sport needs villians to survive. Somebody will always be willing to give them a ride, it just may not be top line machinery so they'll get even more bitter and "dangerous".......As long as there are county fairs w/ figure 8 demo derbies, they'll be running somewhere.:skull

Yep, I was there at Speedway Park...great memories, huh?

My earliest look at Junior was at Albuquerque Kartway when he was 11 and I was 15, he was good out of the box.

It's a shame alcohol has wrecked his life. He will probably do prison time for the latest DUI in Albuquerque, drag racing at 100 MPH on Paseo Del Norte and blew a .23.

Last i heard he was sober, but that has been awhile, sounds like he is in serious trouble again. Such as shame to see what he has wasted, talent, life, so much.
I always thought he would be running one team and Michael Andretti another, just continuing the rivalry as owners they started on the track.
Bummer.

Awesome memories...
They just reopened the kart track(TTT) up on 9 mile hill.
I remember first time they strapped little Al in a sprint,he couldn't see over the hood riser..they had to go get a couple of phone books to put on the seat so he could see..lol
First race, guess he was all of 15..started last, ended up 5th against a stellar field of non wing sprints...

Ron,if your ever back in Abq. lemme know...
I'm racing a dirt modified up at Sandia...we can reminisce about the good old days..
