What lights you running. Can't decide between Pentair Intellibrite 5g color changing or J&J Color Splash 3g color changing ........

We just built a pool and have the Pentair light system. Pretty nice setup. My kids dig the color changing. Can’t go wrong with Pentair.

We are 6 months into remodeling our back yard right now and decided on Pentair. Are tieing the LED color changing pool lighting into the LED water features as well. Our GC is programming a single app that will control the entire back yard; pool, spa, water features, recessed infrared heaters, lighting, fire features etc etc all in one app. Damn stuff is expensive, will see how it comes out.....

So Cal Pools that did our build and used Pentair, I was super happy with them! Everything from the spa to the bubblers and pool light would sync and worked great! The whole Pentair system and the app is awesome, turn on everything while driving home from the river... The only thing I would do is decide if you need a couple extra lights based on the shape and distances in the pool...

We like the Pentair LED light - had it changing color in the pool and spa but usually went with 1 color when we got in the spa.

Going with an existing app (Pentair) makes a lot of sense (and cents) vs. a custom app.

Pentair here as well.

We don’t use it a lot, but when we do, it is normally on blue only.

I have the Pentair and leave it on the blueish color. I never change colors.

Pentair here also, and like others we leave it on blue. Color changing was just a cool novelty at first, but wore off pretty quick.

I was just gonna chime in and say go with pentair. J and J has been around a while but was always known as a long life fluorescent bulb company for commercial pools. They’ve been doing leds for a bit but as more and more systems become product matching dependent as far as remotes it’s best to have lights that match the potential remote system you have or would eventually run.
Most remote systems currently have options for different manufactures, but they don’t always match the capabilities of the light.
