Looking for someone to coat an existing pond / waterfall. Small about 200 sq ft of surface area. Currently has moon stones and I’m done. Any of the pool guys/ plasters on here.
Been away from the pool biz for a long time. Don’t even know if this is current tech?

Existing pond / waterfall. As in the basin you want to pebble? what is current finish and build material? Concrete base.
and are you talking under water pebble finish ( plaster ) or epoxy pebble finish out of water

Want to do basin. Has white very hard bottom. Doesn’t feel like plaster. Sides are concrete? Heavy sand aggregate. I know minimum of sand blast.

plaster / Pebble guys are gonna charge minimum for that. Roughly 3k range on plaster
your better off remove rocks, pick up a bucket of xypex and coat it yourself. Let it cure and put rocks back in.
it will smooth the surface, stop leaks, have uniform color.

or if your done done, fill it with dirt, and run decorative rock from “ waterfall“ to other side for a dry water feature look

note: existing looks like just concrete, bottom is excessive amounts of efflorescence

The point is I want the rocks gone for maintenance. All the organics sitting in still water. Do you think the pebble finish is a bad idea? I figured at least 3k. Pond is a focal point.

As long as it’s solid concrete, no cracking in structure. Remove rocks send me pics and address and I’ll set guys up to pebble it

Cool. It needs to be pretty until after Memorial Day. Bucket seems solid no apparent leaks. After that I have a 2 month window.
One question, can this surface be run out of the water line. (Dry cracking plaster) or seamed below waterline. If I explained it clearly.

Large pebble can go out of water, it will get a nasty calcium line, but other option is to tile at waterline and add more money to the semi simple fix
dspending on current condition it may need a light chipping or sandblast on surface pre pebble to remove any debris/calcium

I assumed there would be surface prep. Tile not an option as it’s a natural appearance. Thanks. I’ll let you know my schedule.
