NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A Norfolk man and Portsmouth woman were arrested and charged with murder in the death of man whose body was found in a burning truck on Interstate 64 Friday morning.
Hassan Harvey, 34, of Norfolk, and Kasey Rubio, 19, of Portsmouth, were arrested in Norfolk and charged with first degree murder, abduction and arson, according to a press release from the York-Poquoson Sheriff's office.
Harvey and Rubio are both listed as owners of Top Dead Center, an auto repair and service center, on Nevada Avenue in Norfolk. On Facebook, both Harvey and Rubio also list themselves as employees of Top Dead Center.
The victim, Austin King, 56, sold Mac Tools in a delivery truck to repair shops across the Southside. His route did not take him to York County, where his body and the truck were found on the side of the road Friday morning.
