Some of you may remember the history between Livorsi and Gaffrig a few years back. Apparently, I have a set of Gaffrig made by Livorsi gauges that are no longer available. I have contacted both Gaffrig and Livorsi with no luck. Nothing on EBay or anywhere else online that I've searched.

The new stuff is not drastically different than what I've got, but I'd like to keep the same look. The logo on the new stuff from Gaffrig is not the same as well as the "Precision Instruments" slogan underneath. Since I only need to replace one, I thought I might check with the masses here to see if anyone may just possibly have it laying around. Rex? CP? Bueller?

Gauge: Voltmeter only. 2" Diameter. Old Gaffrig part#830CU.

I know you said you talked to livorsi already but last year they used my trim and bezel with new guts. It might be worth another call.

By "trim" are you referring to the face and outer ring? To be specific, I the face on my gauge is separate from the plastic where the Gaffrig logo is printed.

When I talked to them about repair, they pretty much said they don't do anything internal because they don't actually manufacture the internals of the gauge.

I did explain to them that my goal was to keep the same look. I don't care if they charge the same price as a new gauge if they would simply take mine and either fix it or use my parts on a new gauge.

Keep looking at ebay. It took me 7 months, but I found my 25 year old VDO trim gauge on ebay, and it was new old stock.

You might also call around to all the boat builders. Many of them have odd ball stuff (like gauges), sitting on a shelf. You might get lucky.

I'll try Try GT and Teague just in case.

I did get lucky on EBay right away with a new Water Temp gauge that matched perfectly actually.

Glad to see I'm not the only freak like that. The little things. Good luck with your search.

Yep, I'd be looking at it thinking: "You! You are the bastard adopted child of this family of gauges."

I may just go with Outdrive1's suggestion if nothing else pans out. The logo is slightly different which is why I didn't go with that gauge in the first place.

I just checked Wildman's thread. They are the new style Gaffrig gauges. Thanks for the tip however.

GT Performance did have it. I owe you a beer. Thanks.

It's a small item but thanks to Gary, Stan, and Jaimie - I now have a new matching Voltmeter. Quick shipping to boot.
