If your are like us and run the Predator 3500 Inverter, the newest version has some major changes.
It's a different engine and the head/spark plug is closer to the side panel. If bump'd snaps and breaks off the plug cap in half, clean off the plug.
These are the newer units with the battery box on the left side and circular gas gauge. Older models don't have this issue have the battery box on the right side and the rectangular gas gauge.
It's even happening in transit where the generator is cushion packed.
I was able to return the generator and they still had older models in stock.
Also, while on the subject, if you get the big wheel kit, get the solid tire version. The air-filled tires are real China bomb junk.
We use the Predator because it is the most quiet, way quieter than anything else out there, will run the 15K AC unit (Honda 3000 won't, and yeah it's a better unit) and with a coupon & HF club discount is really cheap.
When they die after thousand and thousands of hours and start using serious amounts oil between changes ya drain the liquids and toss them in the dumpster.
