Also needed to make some room in the rear for coolers, diaper bags etc....:D
Before and after....now I just need to make a cargo rack to sit above the spare. Probably tie it into the cage up front and build some legs on the rear and make it removable. Also need to get a GPS mounted up front and add back in the hydralic bumpstops. But other than that I'm leaving it stock :D

Great, another slow Jeep to wait for on the trails. :skull:skull

Well it should run a little faster than the last one....and if you guys are still that much faster I'll just ram you at the first beer stop to slow you down:D

There will be no ramming. Unless it involves the women. :skull

Very cool ride. XJ's are an excellent platform. Many people swear by the unibody.

There is enough of us Jeepers here now I think we need our own forum. :D

So when is the next run?

I'm with you ...we need our own forum :)

I like the light weight of the unibody but thankfully this one has been fully plated front to rear so it almost has a frame:D

You must be talking about crawling and rocks right?:skull

Your jeep is the shit and your running some bad ass parts but I don't think your gonna want to run it through the washes at 50+ or over whooped out terrain at high speeds.:hmm:p

Then again I have ruined some pretty nice shit on a dare for some free beer;):D

Nice. I love that canti-levered rear shock set-up.

We ran our XJ in Glamis over the weekend and it went everwhere...even got the blessing from the wife. :) I do need to get the hyd bumpstops back on there.

Anyone got a hook-up for 2" dia bump stops 4" stroke preferred? Brand doesn't really matter. I need the front two for now.

Thanks,

Chris

OK picked up a set of Bilstein 4" bump stops. I'll through them on this weekend and take it for a test ride.
